Skin:
I have been using the black soap body wash for over two months. I would describe my skin as soft and somewhat sensitive. It is normal to oily (by the end of the day).
The front of my leg had this never ending dry patch. It was so awkward this summer to wear shorts sometimes. I would lotion this area and by the middle of the day, it would look super dry and cracked again. (Ugh, story of my life right). I attempted to read up on this and I tried Vaseline, drinking more water etc.
Nothing worked...until I started using this African black soap body wash! I follow up by using the Shea Moisture coconut lotion (smells soo good).
About:
The Shea Moisture African Black Soap Shea Butter Wash has oats and shea butter added into it as well. I think this is why the wash retains the moisture. I have used fresh African black soap made in Africa in the past and although I like it, I find that it can be drying since it is not mixed with anything else.
Marketing/Product Design:
I like the clear bottle allowing me to see the product. Simple Black and gold lettering with important information about the product. The product comes out smoothly, but I wonder it will be an issue as I get down to the bottom of the bottle. The bottle is not that "squeezable."
Place of purchase/Price:
Target /$10-11 for 13oz ; I think it is fairly priced. After two months, I am still near the top of the bottle and I use this product everyday, at least twice a day.
Effectiveness of the product:
I think so far the product has improved my skin.
